Description
Orange Ceramic refractory pigment 800gCeramic refractory pigments are synthetic mineral dyes in the form of colored metal oxides and their combinations, solid solutions or chemical compounds.
Scope of pigment:
1. Glass: base for glass paints, the temperature of pigment application is not more than 700-1000ºC;
2. Majolica: basis for overglaze paints, staining of glazes, etc., application temperature of pigment 700-1300ºC;
3. Ceramics: staining of glazes, engobes, etc., the temperature of pigment application is more than 1000ºC;
It is a universal pigment, suitable for all the above types of work and temperatures.
Pigments have a particle size of less than 20 μm.
The amount of pigment introduced into the fluxes, glazes, ceramic masses, and the like. is determined by the consumer.
Pigments remain stable up to 850ºC
Keep the pigment in a closed container, in dry, ventilated areas, and avoid the ingress of moisture and contaminants into the pigment. Recommended humidity is 0.5%. When the humidity is increased, the pigment should be dried in an electric dryer, at a temperature of 80-120 ºC.
